MHST 101 - Introduction to the History and Literature of Music

Instructions

Building on the skills learned in the Library Project Part I and the Bibliographic Project, each student will write a paper on the research process you used while researching for your Composer Project.

Describe the path you took in researching your paper -- including successes and failures.  Please list the names of the research tools (e.g. OBIS, Music Index and other subject-specific databases, Journal Finder, primary documents, etc.) that you used and describe /how/ you used them as you formed your topic, sought, selected, and connected useful information, and produced your project.

You MUST use the research tools I presented in this guide before using additional research tools.

Full instructions and supporting documents can be found in the MH101 Blackboard page under the tab, "Research and Writing Assignments."
