The Oberlin College Archives ensure access to collections related to the history of Oberlin College and Conservatory, and the city of Oberlin.
Students are encouraged to engage with archival materials during their studies, and can do so by making an appointment with Archives staff.
The Archives are located in the Mary Church Terrell Main Library, on the fourth floor of the Seeley G. Mudd Center.
The Clarence Ward Art Library supports the Allen Memorial Art Museum, and student, faculty, and staff in the Art History and Studio Art departments, but is open to all Oberlin College Libraries users!
The Clarence Ward Art Library is located on the top floor of the Venturi Art Building.
The Conservatory Library is dedicated to serving students, faculty, and staff in the Oberlin Conservatory, but is open to all Oberlin College Libraries users.
The Conservatory Library is located in the central unit of the Conservatory complex.
The Science Library supports students, faculty, and staff across the natural sciences, but is open to all Oberlin College Libraries users!
The Science Library is located on the first floor of the Science Center, just off the Perlik Commons.
Special Collections are held at the Main, Conservatory, and Art Libraries, and include rare books, manuscripts, and other materials from throughout history, and around the world.
