Accessibility of Class Materials
Accessibility of materials for classes is integral to the mission of OCL and the IDEA Committee. Many students are unaware of the options available on campus for saving money on class materials.
Reserves, OhioLINK, SearchOhio, ILL, and resources through the Center for Student Success provide free options for sourcing some class materials.
Encouraging professors to consider Open Access options for required course materials, or to consider older editions of textbooks can provide more cost effective options for students as well.

Center for Student Success resources
The Center for Student Success maintains a Book Loan Library for first generation and high need students. Students can borrow books for a full semester as availability lasts - all books are donated by students that no longer need them.
Technologies Resources
Laptops, laptop chargers, headphones, and phone chargers are available for checkout at the Circulation desk of all the Libraries. Some students with high need may be able to work through the Center for Student Success with the Reserves Manager to coordinate a longer loan.
