Business: Bloomberg Terminal

The Bloomberg Terminal provides financial data and analytical tools. It must be accessed from an application installed on a computer located on the Mudd Center second level. Reserve a time to use the Bloomberg Terminal. 

A self-paced course available from the terminal that covers economic indicator fundamentals, the role of central banks, bond valuations, and related Bloomberg Terminal functions. 

To access the course through Oberlin's subscription: 

1. Go to the Bloomberg Terminal on the second floor of the Mudd Center. 
2. Open the Bloomberg Terminal application from the desktop. 
3. Create an account with your Oberlin email. 
4. Open a new tab and search for Bloomberg Certificates or the BCER function. 
5. Click "Log In" or "Sign Up" depending on whether you have a pre-existing Bloomberg account. 
6. Click "Launch Course" to open the course in a browser.
