Water Resources in Central Asia - From Russia to ChinaEurasia is a massive landmass that spreads over Europe and Asia, encompassing about 21,000,000 square miles (ca. 36% of the earth's total land). Its terrain is as diverse as its people, with vast dessertous space, mountainranges, and water ways that color the region with a particularly unique beauty and flavor. Central Eurasia is includive of Western Russia, Mongolia, and the Xinjiang region of Northwest China, down to the "Stans" (i.e., Kazakhstan, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Turkmenistan, Afghanistan, and Pakistan). While there are diversities in Central Eurasia, there is also a shared history, and contemporary problems that concern all people in this part of the world.
