Additions and deletions from collection are tracked by format, each by titles and volumes. Technical services librarian compiles stats monthly. PCC stats are tracked separately.
For each format, track volumes added, titles added; volumes discarded/withdrawn; titles withdrawn.
Track statistics for routine procedures using Google Forms (details below) unless you have explicit permission to submit stats using an alternate method. Technical Services Librarian compiles stats the first working day of each month. Make sure your email address appears before submitting the form.
Titles added = new bibliographic record (‘new’ = cataloged or newly split off from set record)
Volumes added = item records
For new cataloging, typically the number of volumes will be same or slightly higher than titles.
Catalogers may elect to keep tallies for their own use of number of original/enhance/copy for new cataloging, but are not required to record/submit unless notified in advance.
